Every Tuesday, Claudine dolls herself up and heads to a mountain hotel to sleep with guys passing through. These fast-paced romances offer her a break from her daily routine, which otherwise revolves exclusively around her impaired son. But when one of the men wants to spend more time with her, she is faced with a heartbreaking decision: Does she follow the desire for a new lifestyle, or does she continue to devote her time to her beloved son? The poignant Swiss drama LAISSEZ-MOI was shot in the Valais region of Switzerland. Director Maxime Rappaz symbolically uses the contrasts of the breathtaking Valais mountains and the lowlands to tell the story of Claudine's double life.
